I have a long career in the NHS working as a nurse and midwife.
I completed my Law Degree (LLB Honours) in 2004 and obtained my Masters Degree in 2012.
I am now the Director of Jane Parker & Associates having joined the Institute of Professional Will writers and qualifying as a Will writer in 2009.
A passion for what I do, enables me to offer my clients a personalised, bespoke service and I believe my experience as a community nurse and midwife have given me the qualities to support people to come to the right decisions when considering their wills and power of attorney.
I can offer clients appointments to suit individual requirements including appointments in the evening or weekends with no additional charges. Appointments can be face to face in your own home environment or if you prefer can be via zoom/facetime/whatsapp video.
I am based in Warsash but am happy to travel any distance to ensure I am accessible for all clients. Travel expenses and time will only be charged if the distance is more than 20 miles. All fees are fixed at the beginning of the process to ensure there are no hidden unexpected costs for the client.
Members of the Institute of Professional Will writers undertake regular training and continuous professional development before they are enabled to renew their membership each year. This ensures that all members are kept up to date with changes in legislation and regulation. All members comply with a Code of Practise and are regulated by the Trading Standards Institute.
Although any one can write a will, it is important to use a professional to ensure the drafting and the execution of the Will are completed correctly. If not, there can be negative and unintended consequences for individuals. It is about ensuring that people important in your WORLD, are considered in your WISHES and those WISHES are reflected in your WILL.

It is never too soon to make a will. Your will sets out who you want to benefit from your estate but also enables you to consider other factors. You can choose who will care for your children and who you will leave gifts too such as friends family or your chosen charity. Your personalised wishes can be reflected in your will.
Lasting Powers of Attorney
A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) is a legal document that allows you to choose someone you trust to make important decisions on your behalf, in the future, if you cannot make them yourself. This includes consideration of your property & financial affairs but also your health & welfare.
